For any parent wishing to learn more about professional opportunities and the Show Biz Industry, this is a DO NOT MISS opportunity held once each summer.
Lights! Camera! Action!
Before you hear these 3 words, your child will have to be cast first. And it is your responsibility as the parent and guardian of your child's entertainment career to be armed with as much information as possible.
Back by overwhelming parent requests, it's our annual Showbiz Kids seminar for parents!
Led by the director of our conservatory, who also owns a Los Angeles Film Production Company, parents will learn the "ins and outs" of show business.
We cover it all.It is a competitive, specialized field requiring extensive knowledge and in-depth research to sucessfully prepare, compete, and land jobs in the entertainment industry.
Learn how to avoid red flags and scams from a professional who know the business first-hand and is well versed in how to proceed in a responsible and an informed manner.
How to get started from the business tools you must have to get started (headshots, resumes, reels) to the artistic tricks and understanding the differences bewteen genres of work in the entertainment field, and the how to audition for EACH TYPE of genre- yes-different mediums require different skill sets and approaches for each type of audition.
We arm you with the statistics about the industry, as well as the ways your child can vie for scholarship money for college or pay for college through work in local, regional, and national on camera and voice over opportunities.
What about agents? How does an agent work? A Manager or no Manger? Do I really have to go to LA to make it? What about local and regional opportunity? What are the statistics of auditionees v. percentage of work landed? What ROI will I expect to get back on what I put into my child's showbiz future? Yes, all of these parent questions and more are answered in the Showbiz Kids Seminar for parents.
