LED BY VISITING BROADWAY and TV GUEST ARTIST IN RESIDENCE KATE GUYTON* who has appeared on Cashmere Mafia,Law and Order, on Broadway with Kevin Kline and Jennifer Garner, and on PBS Great Performances. Ms. Guyton is a graduate of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts prestigious Graduate M.F.A Acting program. She currently is launching numerous young professional NYC musical theatre, stage, and film/tv careers in her work at the CAP 21 program through NY. This is an opportunity NOT to be missed.

It's all about the triple threat...Singing...Dancing...Acting. Do you have your pieces prepared for every type of audition?Do you know how to pick material? How Many types of Genres there are?
Do you know about the Performing Arts Competitions that take place locally and regionally for all ages? The College Scholarship Competitions? NO? Well, our Artistic Director does! And she is one of the most sought out Adjudicators in the Nation for Acting & Vocal Competitions. And has coached more State of Georgia winners in the National Shakespeare Competition than any other director in the State.
And this is YOUR chance to learn about Auditioning: how to prepare, what to do, what not to do and learn about the plethora of scholarhsip and performance opportunities that exist in the world of theatre, musicals, and on-camera work.
This Workshop is appropriate for Intermediate and Advanced Levels.
You will create an audition workbook full of tricks & pieces.
Each Actor will develop a complete set of audition pieces for performance & perform a selected piece in the end of week Showcase Presentation.
This Class fills up quickly- so don't delay as space is limited and by audition only.

Auditionees must prepare a musical theatre selection and a contemporary or classical monologue totalling less than 4 minutes. Please bring sheet music or a cd. Students who are unable to attend auditions in person must submit a videotape audition.
